Ceramic glaze reacts to heat during firing in the kiln. Because of this process small variations in tone, texture, or depth can occur between pieces.

Most glazes are suitable for dishwasher use. However, some specialty finishes such as Crackle, Kikko, Antique Gold, and Antique Silver should be washed by hand to preserve the surface.
